Matt: I live in biberach in south germany close to stuttgart and im 21 years old

English: How long have you been skating?

Matt: Since arround 10 years ,first i skateboarde and was riding bmx then when rollerblading become a trend and skate hall opend in my hometowni switched to rollerblading

English: Who do you skate for? (sponsors)

Matt: I'm riding for grindhouse they support me alot and pay me travels and when i go somewhere to film for dvds and stuff like that and they support me also with stuff ,and also im ridding for undercover wheelsthey are allways down for new ideas and also support me godd as they can we try to make the wheels allways better and better

English: How did you get to where you are now?

Matt: ok thats a long story but i skatet alot of park ,and i just have lots of fun in what im doing and thats it ,hen after i got a sponosr i startet to travell and i got m,ore famouse and famouse , one day my friend jochan asked me if i we could do a section of me for clip 2 ,i said yes fo shure ,afte rthe section came out really alot of ppl know me after ...and also winning the first winterclash and having a p-file in daily bread helped a lil bit

English: What are your favorite spots to skate?

Matt: I like to skate ledges ,and also spots where i can do lines but it depends onthe day i like to skate all kind of spot street and park. Sometimes more big spots sometimes more small spots it depends...

English: Do you have any new projects for the future?

Matt: Yes making rollerblading big like foootbal hahh lol n im kidding ,we are filming alot for the next issure for clip ,clip 4 which will come out soon and also for the next issue of hey dude

English: What movies did you star in and wich one pleased you the most?

Matt: Ok im in lots of movies to many to tell but the most important was clip 2 and on the surface there i had a section and this dvds was making me famouse and also i put a lot of work in this section .. and i tried to show rollerblading in this section how i see it fast and more than only grinding ......

English: Are you into any other activities besides rollerblading?

Matt: Yes i try to sepnd as much time as i can besides rolling with my girlfriend, but other sports than rolling i dont do

English: What sacrifices did you make for this sport?

Matt: HMMMMMMM my whole life all changed cuz of rolling ,

English: Which is the most important thing when you skate?

Matt: That's easy cuz the most important thing for me is the fun ,thats why i do this

English: What was your best, and what was your worst experience in rollerblading?

Matt: Worst experience was wheni broke my back in 2005 .the best experiences is the travelling meeting new ppl friends ,different views of things ,also going somewhere and see citys from another side like u would see them if u would be there on holidays

English: Which are the most important contests you have participated in? Best results?

Matt: Most important was for shure the first winterclash which i won ,other importants was back in the day the div local hero tour in wanbgen which i won in my kinda homeskatepark

English: What skating videos do you like the most? Which skater? And why?

Matt: I like what do u believe in alot and all the clip series ,for 2 fav skater i dont have ,bu i really like jochen smudas skating

English: What's your favourite combination and favourite trick?

Mathias: COMBO HAHHAHAHAHAH fav trick i would say wheelbarrow , i like this trick cuz i love the feeling during doing this trick and its not a trendy trick this make sthe trick more cool for me

English: Have you ever heard of any romanian rollerblader? and if so, what's your opinion?

Matt: Yeah shure ,my friend ene is from romania he skates super sick and has a great style ,i also hear about bivol mihai i saw at the winterclash ,and some more

English: How do you feel about comming to Romania this summer?

Matt: I will come this year with the grindhouse tour ,i have never been there before so im really excitedt about goig there i love it to go onnew places ,and what i heard romania is great for skating ,so i cant wait to come its gonna be super sick fo shure

English: Last question, what's your advice to the youth of rollerblading?

Matt: Yes ok that would be skate just for the fun and only for urself ,then make not one million combos on flatrails cuz thats boaring and try to have a great time
